Aside from traditional 15-a-side rugby, there are a number of ways of playing the sport – each with their own rule variations – that are designed to make the game more accessible to beginners and more fun for casual players.

The RFU’s leisure rugby team is here to help you get involved in playing the game at all these levels. The RFU can provide rugby clubs and event organisers with the advice they need for managing and promoting leisure rugby events.

As a player, you can follow the links in this section to find out how to get involved in tag rugby, touch rugby, beach rugby, seven-a-side, ten-a-side and veterans rugby

If you are an event organiser, the pages on promoting your event provide tips and guidance on how the RFU can help you run and promote your leisure rugby event.
